A week long training on Arabic Hal screen reader started on July 7th 2007 and will continue until June 12. Kuwait Association for the Blind recently acquired a number of Hal packages and offered its members introductory and advanced training on Hal. The screen reader is becoming increasingly popular in Kuwait and demand for it is increasing. Trainees were pleased to learn about the powerful features of Hal which they missed in using other competing packages.

A lecture and a presentation will be delivered by Auda Hazeem, Nattiq's CEO, featuring the latest developments on Arabic Hal. The presentation will discuss version 8.0 as well as the expected release of Hal's pen.
