Abu Dhabi Conference

Zayed Higher Organization for Humanitarian and Special Needs and Minor Affairs will hold a conference on blindness and visual impairment in Abu Dhabi this month, February 2010. The conference will start on February 23rd and will end on February 25th. An Adaptive Technology exhibition will also be held to display the latest technical advancements in the field of blindness and visual impairment.

Friends of the Blind Association in Palestine Gives Hal and a Lap Top to 50 Blind Palestinians

Funded by Alnoor Association in the Kingdom of Bahrain, the Friends of the Blind Association in Ramallh distributed 50 lap tops equipped with Hal to blind candidates who could utilize the equipment at work or school. The distribution of the gifts was conducted in a ceremony attended by Her Excellency the Minister of Social Affairs in the Palestinian Authory Madam Majida Almasri.
